ABOUT US

We are the Congruent Association, an organization in Oradea that accompanies people on the path from addiction to a life lived in harmony with themselves. We continue the work started through the Be Free program and take it further in a broader framework: Congruent: Body, Mind, Spirit.

Who We Are

Congruent emerged from the belief that recovery and personal development are not two separate things. They are the same path, traveled in different stages. Someone who comes out of addiction starts on the same path that a participant in personal development has taken.

We work with people in recovery, their families and people who want to live more consciously. We offer safe spaces, supportive relationships and a structured path, without absolute promises and without rushing.

Behind the association are people with training and direct experience in accompanying those in this process.

What we believe

We believe that anyone can become whole again. This is why we exist and everything we do starts from here.

We believe that addiction does not define a person. It is a wound, not an identity. And wounds can heal.

We believe that recovery is more than stopping something destructive. It is finding your voice, your values, and your place in the world.

We believe that truth heals. Secrets, silence, and pretense fuel the disease. A space where people can say what they are truly experiencing is the first step to change.

We believe that families suffer together and heal together. There is no individual recovery without rebuilding the relationships around them.

We believe that shame separates and connection heals. No one should walk this path alone.

We believe that every person has resources that addiction has covered, not destroyed. Our job is to help rediscover them.

We believe that real freedom doesn't mean being able to do anything, but being able to choose consciously, in agreement with who you are and what matters to you.

“We work with people who are ready to let go of fragmentation and start living in agreement with themselves. We don't promise it's easy. We promise they're not alone.”

The Congruent Team

First step

We, the members of the Congruent association, believe that every life is precious and deserves to be lived with dignity.

If you are struggling with an addiction or are accompanying someone who is, we can talk.
